EFRY DIVERSITY COMMITTEE News:

Celebration : The "Diversity Committee" of E-Fry celebrated the "International Day of Anti-Racism", by organising a lunch with the "St.Patricks Day" [Green] Theme on 17th March, along with the small quiz and video sections.

2006 Calendar: We have distributed the 2006 Calendar to all the programs within the Society, to make aware of Various Cultural, Religious Events & Functions.

MANDATE:

is responsible for reviewing Personnel Policies & Procedures which promote equity and ensures Human Rights are not violated.

is responsible for planning and coordinating Diversity Training.

is responsible for promoting diversity within the Society.

is responsible for recommending strategies to enhance the degree of diversity within the Society.

The committee usually meets once a quarter on first Tuesday of January, April, July and October at the Head Office. For more details, refer to the 'Society Calendar' or contact Narinder Bhatia

How you can get involved?
The committee is looking for new members, if you are a current employee of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver and interested in Joining this committee, call Narinder.
All employees of EFSGV are welcome to attend committee meetings. Please call ahead to confirm attendance.
Bring forward any Human Rights issues in the Society by writing/sending an email to the Diversity committee or calling one of the members.
